you cant 'freeze' in prehacks...unless you do extra work in code

it happens all the time when i hack with cheat engine. how old is your computer, if it is more than 10 yrs old that is probably your problem (mine is ten years old and that's my problem).

The successful hacking with CE doesn't depend on your computer age,it depends on the game and the actual version of CE.

Also, if it is the wrong memory address, you seriously effect something that can make it freeze. That and maybe freezing a value very high.
