actualy yes it can the 60gb models with the emagi engine and the 08 gen ps3 can play both.

the 09 ps3 can play ps1 and soon sony will release an update for ps2

i have a wii because i got it for c mas. but if i had a choice between the three i would def get the ps3.wii is kinda fun but all the games get boring super fast.the only reason i would hesitate to get a ps3 is because my internet isnt wireless and it is slow so the whole online experience would suck.

Wii: £140 for pure pleasure of a gaming experience 10/10.
Xbox 360: 2nd Coolest and low price £120 8/10.
PS3: Adult games and very few games like little big planet and it is soooo overpriced £499 0/10.
