Flasm + need help

Hi i have been trying to hack with flasm and i have watched may tutorials but i could never find one that helped me actually hack the game so i tried cheat engine and cheat engine works better except it doesn't work on some games. is there a reason to use flasm instead of cheat engine? also i would like to know do you use a notepad like the regular windows notepad or do you use something like notepad++? also what scripting language do you use for hacking flash games?

Cheat Engine is for temporary hacks, once the game is started. Flasm is capable to edit the game so you can use a hack every time you start the game-

I personally use Notepad++ but any similar program will work. Regular notepad is pretty bad at editing large files.

Hm, let me see... AS2/AS3/VB/C++/C#/Java or pretty much anything that can access Flash one way or another. But i personally don't use any scripting language at all. I rather change the bytecode.
