Flasm help/trouble

I have been looking for good games to try to hack with flasm but i keep getting stuck when i use cmd.exe because it says that it cant open the .swf file (probably because i cant download it with unplug for Mozilla). but anyway i think i downloaded it but i have no idea how to check if i did it right. can someone help me with the process of hacking with flasm? (i tried the tut. on flasm on these forums but i couldn't get it to work though i tried 3 times and failed all of those times. i used greeny6000's tutorial but it didn't work.
