    comment idea thing

you know those crappy comments on games which usually have dislikes i have an idea to stop it! when the dislikes go over a certain amount the comment is hidden and you can also vote it to be hidden from everyone else which makes it more likely to be hidden and also if a person has 3-5 or more hidden comments then they can be banned for some time

wow but then that would increase the amount of trolls imagine you wrote a post that had no reason to be disliked and it did so you got banned!

You would have to put in some kind of stopgate in order to stop people just randomly vote-banning each other. What, this guy's post offended you and no one else? Sorry, but it looks like you're the only one who voted against him. You must be the troll, then. Enjoy a week ban.

No? Then how about putting a post count prerequisite? Congratulations, you've just encouraged the few members that actually care about this forum to make multiple accounts and spam on them. Instead of removing terrible, offensive posts, we'll be getting a lot more of one word messages and insults so the kids here can play god. Wait, what were we trying to achieve here, again?

You're expecting a ton of selflessness and cooperation from online, anonymous strangers like only an extreme optimist would. The internet isn't a wonderful, cheerful place where everyone is always nice to each other. Ultimately, adding this system would only make this website worse and more complicated than it really has to be.

In your mind. You see me, don't you? No? Well, let me just change a few things to my liking.

I think it's unnesassry, I mean most people troll/spam on the likes/dislikes button.
