    APH Clone

    Well, the story is simple.

I was looking for other hacked Flash games websites when I found this one in particular:

kicksgame.com (I can't post the direct link because of APH's antispam protection)

The site itself is just a copy of Arcadeprehacks - it has the same layout, games, comments, etc... - and I was wondering how hasn't anyone noticed that.
I mean, it's a total rip-off of APH, why isn't it down already?

    Just to let you know:

Be cautious, because, it's really "fishy". Someone on MyWOT,already wrote this:

"kicksgame.com is a counterfeit goods scam or fake web store from China selling copyright infringing items. Usually you get some low quality junk, or very often nothing, and they just steal your money."

    UPDATE:

That site is already down for now. It gives an "403 Forbidden" error, if you try to go there.

"DotMedia Limited"? Sounds (and looks) very, very suspicious. There is also no Registrant Phone Ext., making it even more suspicious. The Registrant Name is also the same as DotMedia Limited instead of his true name, further closing attention. Whoever was illegally copying APH might have also been trying to fool the WHOIS system...

Just one thing: Is the Registrant Name supposed to be the actual name of the site creator? If it is, then the creator of the illegal and copyright-violating site must've been trying to fool the WHOIS system.

DotMedia seems to be a registrar. An whoisprivacy@domain email in the who is details is common practice for a domain registrar with the whois privacy option. There are various names for it eg: DomainsByProxy, WhoIsGuard etc.
