Avatar's special effects are probably better, but I never watched 2012.

Too cheap,i don't think so.
But I do know there's plenty of work with After Effects

4/5 stars good movie but not the best i've seen. This year i thought the best movie was Transformers Revenge of The Fallen.

i saw that movie, it wasn't as good as i had hoped, but i love the linkin park song that came with it.
