In Mafia Wars, guns are expensive. In Mobsters, guns are cheap. And that's good.

You get billions of dollars eventually anyway! How much does a normal gun cost in Mobsters?

A pistol would cost about 100-200 dollars. I don't know because I haven't gotten a pistol in a while. I've gotten a minigun which was 12 favor points. But let me tell you, it's alot easier to get territory on Mobsters.

You get territory automatically in Mafia Wars at levels 35 and 70. You can travel to Cuba and Moscow and build your empire there.

Anyway, a .45 Cal Pistol costs a thousand dollars. That is not much in Mafia. You'll still be getting way more than that once you start developing properties and completing jobs. You can even assign family members to positions that benefit you in jobs, and a high-leveled player of a certain class gives you over 10% more cash from the jobs when you promote him.

But does Mafia Wars allow you to customize your character?

You get 5 skill points for every level up, and they can be put into any of 5 categories...Attack, Defense, Health, Energy (for jobs), and Stamina (for fights). In addition, you can choose a character class...it affects which stat is given a shorter recharge time for each point.

Why do you need an avatar on a click-game? It is completely unnecessary. If you played Mafia Wars you wouldn't miss it one bit.
