Now I understand only Martin has actually worked on this hack in depth and we still have no idea what it is because all he said was it doesn't run on his computer. I feel, we can at least try again and confirm the status of this game.

Also the only reason this topic was locked and forgotten in the first place was that it was spammed badly.

Ok, i made a little research and here are the actual facts:
1. The $20 are only for supporting the author, nothing else.
2. It´s not Multiplayer, but he´s thinking about it to make it.

I'm Farbs, the guy who makes Captain Forever. I wouldn't normally object to anyone hacking trainers and cheats into one of my games, however in the case of Captain Forever that would involve removing the sitelock and distributing an unlocked version of the game on the 'net. At the moment the game is only available at http://www.captainforever.com, and I'd rather it stayed that way as this is where people find out about the supporter-only episodes. Without supporters I can't afford to keep developing the series, so it's important to me that the game stays sitelocked.

Have you (the folks requesting cheats) tried using the ship-sharing feature to skip ahead in the game? There are some rather cool ships you can fly linked at http://vcd.phuce.com/

I don't have any immediate plans to remove the lock and distribute it, but I can't guarantee that I won't do this some time in the medium-to-long term. I really don't know at this point, unfortunately.
