Okay this is how it goes.
His life sucked, and then they chases him because he killed a child. They take his daughter away from him and then they burn him alive.
He then kills people in there dreams because he wants revenege, he wants there parents to suffer like he did when they took his daughter away and then took his life. Those teens he kills aren't random people, there parents where the ones who killed him.

Pretty much everything that happened in this movie happened in the older movies.
This just has
1. New actors
2. Better graphics
3. More nudity, nakedness. It seems like when theres a new horror movie you need some hot teens who wear short shorts (not complaining)
Oh and a some modern day horror.
