AS3 Editing help

I know that this may be a simple question, but I'm having trouble finding an answer. I am trying to ask an AS3 game and the program I've been using to at least look at the code thus far is Flash De-compiler Trillix. I am loaded up a file but can't seem to edit it. I tried to use the extract function but it said that I could only extract 2 source items per-type. What I need to know is this: Will extracting the file let me edit the code and will the file still run after putting it back together with this limitation? Thanks, and sorry for the probably stupid question but I am obviously a n00b at this.

Just do AS2 for now.
AS3 is trickier. It's not as easy as just editing the code.

That is absolutely no way to treat something like this.

To NanoCarp,
You just need the right equipment to hack AS3. The things you have now will not do.

I'm pretty sure that AS3 has something to do with Hex values. The person to talk with for that is ZuckeR. He's a master.

this is only half true start to hack as3 games when you fully understand them but mostly stick to as2's since there easier and like the other guy said, ask the ZuckeR for help
