Your mission in this cool RPG game is to guide your mage to the top ranking in Book of Mages. Book of Mages is a deep RPG game with great story, multiple-endings and a complex turn-based combat system. Choose who you want to be in the world of mages. Will you join the evil Black Robes, or the righteous White Robes? Will you become a traitor, a hermit, or even the Great Mage? The learning curve might be steep, but it is worth it as you can replay the game many times with different outcomes. Use YOUR MOUSE to control the game. Good luck!

so, on another note. i'm looking for other games with this... i'm hesitant to say depth, but feel and charm. not necessarily the same playstyle but this level of entertainment value, any suggestions?

i have played this game through more times than I'd like to admit. i played through as every clan, through white robes, black robes. i think i've encountered every title and ending, and i still have no idea how i keep coming back for another playthro
ugh, and also i can't help but ask where is book of mages 3, i love this one it was inspired and charming, brilliantly entertaining, i want to see these guys make another masterpiece of a game

White robe, but you can still get a good ending if you chose black.
i personally prefer to stay neutral, if you do so you have the opportunity to become a legend which is my personal favorite ending

LOL! Great sea absolutely trashes all burning hill mages!
Every time I play this unhacked, I always loose to Burnstorm when I prove myself as great mage.
