Isn't the necronomicon a book from the game fable, that's bound in human skin that gives the holder power over the infinite legions of the damned?

The Necronomicon is a specific grimiore, which is just a magical book of the dark arts, allowing control over the dead. while it does appear in Fable, it originated in short stories by H.P. Lovecraft, a horror story author. Not sure if that helps.

ACTUALLY The Necronomicon is a book said to belong to the devil, Satan himself. It's bound in human skin, written in blood, and the opposite to that of the Book of Life in heaven with God. It also goes by the name Book of the Dead.

and honestly while it could be done well in that regard, i've seen far too many basic angels vs. demons things and i think it would detract from the already interesting eldritch horror vibe that the necronomicon is known for.

i'm sure the written in skin thing could be correct and i'm sure some stories have it said to be held by the devil while it's opposite is in heaven, but that's not in the original lore as far as i know.

Rawkinmuffin is still correct, as the first mention of the necronomicon is from H.P. Lovecraft often said to depict necromantic rituals and in some stories to be able to call C'thulu who is also a creation of H.P.
