Indeed, it should be fixed, but lvl 4 supertowers also are nice.
dont upgrade super tower to lvl 5 or u wont get no more money
I know why is doesnt lets you have a lvl 5 Super Tower, the reason is that it will take a bit fun out of the game thumbs me down if you want but this is the REASON
