weird glitch: the enlightened helm for me instead of having the way it looks on the frame, it has *literally every item sprite in the game*

Beating the Baron really isn't that hard, and it doesn't require an excessive amount of time, or skill points to do just time your Retrograde with his self heal and you can kill him in about 13 turns, taking all of 15 minutes.

They key to beating the baron is to have good sustain, pure power to 5 shot him takes a lotttttttt of clicks

Well to beat the Baron or any high powered boss in good time get your strength up to at least 1,000 it takes 5 min.

Use abilities that drain his focus, he will have to pay health to get it back up. Each class has one. You'll probably need to re-spec though, you might not need those abilities later anymore.

make sure to NEVER respec your attribute points why? because you will lose your 9999 atribute points i learned that teh hard way
