dude I shoot the tank for 30 mins and he didnt and and I found something to shoot more fast jump and press A and down when you are up of the tank but I didnt destroy the tank

tank doesnt die and you dont have infinete lives in that part. i think you got the people mixed up for the lives hack on that part
