I have some pretty tips here..
Always be active..
Prevent your fishes from going to the side.
Upgrade your weapons for all fishes regularly.. 1 by 1 or save up to add upgrades to all fishies.(Uhm, non-hacked version tip)
Remember, mines have pressure.The bigger your mine is, the faster it goes. Your fish can go to your mine if it is too big so always put a ripple at the place you are making a big big mine.. Bubbles? Oh, dont let them get touched by your enemies.. they wil

The answer is no. Only the enemies/your spike can damage your fishes.
